In 2024, 32 Buffalo were collectively transferred to the Eastern Shoshone and Northern Arapaho Tribes. In addition, 20 calves were born on the Shoshone side and 14 were born on the Arapaho side.
Babies and transfers grow the Wind River Buffalo population.
